Leon's Car Care Center in conjunction with the California Waste Management Board is an official oil collection center.   It's easy to recycle!

  • Place your motor oil in a sealed container (Do not mix oil with antifreeze, solvents or any other fluids. Oil mixed with any other substance is contaminated and must be taken to the Household Hazardous Waste Facility, (707) 441-2005).
  • We have the capacity to accept up to 20 gallons of oil per person per day so please call before transporting more than 20-gallons to us.
  • Free used oil collection containers are available for do-it-yourself oil changes throughout Humboldt County by calling 268-2225.
  • Drop off to Leon's Car Care Center during our regular business hours or call us at (707) 444-9636 for more information.
